Does your rank tracker actually track mobile separately? I checked
Quick verdict. Most tools claim 'mobile + desktop'. I tested whether they really pull two SERPs.
What I found on a real project:
➕ AccuRanker — genuinely separate mobile and desktop crawls, positions differed by 2-4 spots on commercial terms, as expected
➕ Semrush — separate device tracking, but counts as separate keyword slots against your limit (sneaky cost)
➖ Some cheaper tools 'estimate' mobile from a desktop crawl — I saw identical numbers for both, a tell they're faking it
Why it matters: if 70% of your traffic is mobile and your tool reports desktop rank, you're optimizing against the wrong SERP — features, local pack and ad load all shift on mobile.
Test it yourself: track one commercial keyword on both devices for a week. If the numbers never diverge, your tool isn't really checking mobile.

Дорогие коллеги и партнеры,
Наш маршрут конференций за последние недели, получился особенно насыщенным.
Со стендами PoshFriends мы побывали на MAC и GGate, а затем продолжили встречи уже в полях iGB Live в Лондоне.
В Ереване увиделись с любимыми SEO-командами, попробовали местные вина, обменялись новостями и зарядились энергией УБТ-команд.
В Тбилиси обсуждали тренды, новые связки и совместные планы, встречались с действующими партнерами и знакомились с новыми. А за настроение на стенде отвечала Черемша, которая чуть не стала маскотом одного из наших продуктов. С этой задачей, кажется, справилась лучше всех.
В Лондоне все было уже по-деловому. Провели серию встреч с топ-партнерами, обсудили Японию, бурж и новые точки роста. География интересов растет, планы становятся амбициознее. Воротники, как выяснилось, нагладили не зря.
Спасибо всем, с кем удалось увидеться на этом маршруте. За открытые разговоры, новые идеи, доверие и планы, которые постепенно превращаются в реальные проекты.
Конференционный сезон продолжается. Скоро увидимся снова.

Search volume accuracy: I checked tools against real GSC impressions
The test nobody runs. I took 30 keywords I actually rank for, pulled true impressions from Search Console, and compared each tool's volume estimate.
What I found:
➕ Ahrefs ran closest on mid-volume terms, usually within ~25% of real impressions
➕ Semrush trended high — often 1.3-1.6x reality on commercial terms
➖ Every tool was wildest on low-volume long-tail (under 100/mo): estimates were basically guesses, off by 3-5x either way
➖ 'Clickstream-corrected' volumes are model outputs, not counts
The honest read: tool volume is a relative ranking signal (term A bigger than term B), not an absolute traffic forecast. Stop building revenue models on it.
Best for: directional sizing, never precise forecasting.
Pick this if you use volume to compare terms within one tool — that's valid. Skip the habit of quoting tool volume as expected traffic to a client; GSC impressions are the only ground truth.

Crawling JavaScript sites: which crawler actually renders
If your site is React/Vue, a non-rendering crawler lies to you. I tested three on the same JS-heavy SPA.
Screaming Frog (JS rendering on):
➕ Renders via headless Chromium, shows rendered vs raw HTML side by side — you see what content only appears after JS
➖ Rendering slows the crawl 4-5x and eats RAM; you'll feel it past 10k URLs
Sitebulb:
➕ Renders too, and flags content/links that only exist post-render as a specific hint
➖ Same speed tax as Frog
Non-rendering mode (any tool, JS off):
➖ Reports your JS-injected content and links as missing — a false alarm that wastes hours
The lesson: always run one rendered crawl on a JS site to compare against the raw crawl. The diff is your indexability risk.
Best for: Frog for the raw-vs-rendered diff, Sitebulb for the prioritized hint.
Pick this if your content loads via JS — turn rendering on and eat the speed hit. Skip rendering only if you've confirmed your HTML is server-side complete.
