Dear Students,
1) Solve all the four questions on one drawing sheet. Try to avoid supplements.
2) Solve curve and Ortho on one side whereas DLS-Isometric on other side of the sheet.
3) Try to solve Curve and DLS first then Ortho and Isometric at the end.
4) Orthographic - Observe maximum dimensions (L, H & W) and draw very faint rectangular boxes for FV (LxH), TV(LxW) and SV(HxW). First locate centre-lines, draw curves and later complete the views by transferring projection.
6) Isometric - Observe maximum dimensions (L, H & W) and draw a very faint 3D box by locating the origin O. Observe and select L and W on right/left side of origin. Do not hurry while selecting L/W for the 3D box.
7) Write Que number near your solution and its type with given data.
e.g. Que 1) HYPERBOLA, ECCENTRICITY= 5/4
e.g. Que 2) HELIX ON CONE, DIA.60 MM AND AXIS 100 MM
e.g. Que 3) ORTHOGRAPHIC FV, TV AND RHSV
e.g. Que 5) ISOMETRIC VIEW
e.g. Que 7) SQUARE PYRAMID OF BASE 40 MM AND AXIS 70 MM, CUTTING PLANE AT 45 DEGREE.
e.g. Que 8) PENTAGONAL PRISM OF BASE 40 MM AND AXIS 80 MM, CUTTING PLANE AT 45 DEGREE.
