Curiously, yesterday was the anniversary of the 1854 Battle of Balaclava "Charge of the Light Brigade" into the Valley of Death, immortalized by Kipling's condemnation of the useless sacrifice of British Light Cavalry as they were ordered to chage into a
heavily fortified Russian artillery encampment with Russian artillery fire from both sides of the Valley

It would seem that one of our most distinguished combat divisions is being set up for a slaughter;
not because they're incapable of effective combat, but rather, because they lack appropriate intelligence
on their actual enemy, and, they don't recognize who that enemy is; it's certainly not the Russians.

In this case, they'll be told to face off against the Russians,
while the Ukraine Nazis attack the 101st from the rear and blame it on the Russians.

Our CJCS (Milley) and SecDef (Austin) are fully aware of this scenario and already have their speeches prepared to
"... unleash the full fury of NATO against Russia!").
I imagine they already have posthumous medals to be awarded to those
US soldiers slaughtered for this political maneuver - designed to obliterate coverage of the elections - or, perhaps to suspend them.

10 years ago, a colleague-scientist of mine created a battleground weapon with the same volume of fire as that used in a AC-130 Gunship's Gatling Gun; on the ground, this weapon would be highly mobile, with constant fire of 50 caliber rounds. He designed
this weapon for the Ukrainians. It eliminates the standard battlefield protocols when mixed in with 105mm abd 155mm artillery nukes - a tactical nuclear weapon that NATO has been anxtious to employ for 40 years.

Our Military commanders are not trained in this peculiar type of battlefield scenario and assume it will be the same as the tactics
they were taught at the Command & General Staff College [i.e., Patton's WW2 tactics revised to face the Russians charging through
the Fulda Gap! I predict this will be the most serious slaughter since the ambush of the Big Red One in Vietnam [an event covered up
by the Army since it resulted from a senseless command blunder .

1) They would refuse this deployment
2) They would recognize the Russians would be the secondary enemy
3) They would recognize the Ukrainian Nazis were the primary enemy
4) Once in Ukraine, they would arrest Zelensky and his movie producers and actors
5) They would then seize the Ukraine Treaury and confiscate all the $90 Billion Biden sent to theim
6) They would systematically destroy all the bioWeapon Labs and turn the staffs over to the Russians
7) They would arrest the Vindman brothers and turn them over to the Russians.
8) They would invite the Russians in for a celebration and have a few drinks

You have a good suggestion.

As a start, we could arrange for the Armed Services Committe in both the Senate and the House to be flown over to Ukraine
and dropped by parachute into the FEBA [Forward Edge of the Battle Area].
This would be fitting since the unit being sent into Ukraine is the 101st AIRBORNE Division [now Air-Mobile].

When politics dominate international decisions, they often end in wars [thus WW1].

But, aside from the travesty of our Black Horse Brigade, we can go back a bit further
to before our engagement in Vietnam, when the Viet Minh overwhelmed the French
at Dien Bien Phu;
The French Government took no action to reinforce or protect that French Military element
[Far East Expeditionary Corps] which had been ordered to hold their position at all costs.

Back home in Paris, over cocktails, the government leaders decided that Vietnam was not worth the struggle,
since the citizenry objected; so they sent word to the commander in Vietnam
"Your on your own now; we have no further interest in this war"

In the end, the French force surrendered, but not before both sides had taken massive casualties

It's rare that politicians understand war and its consequences.

1) Harry Truman saw combat in WW1, so his views were shaped by his memories

2) Ike commanded all the US/Allied forces in WW2

3) JFK fought in WW2 in a PT Boat

4) GHW Bush flew a bombing mission over a Jap site, took fire, [forced his crew to parachute over Jap territory where they were captured, tortured, and executed so he would have plenty of fuel to reach his ship], and was thus lauded as a hero by his father, a US Senator.

9) Biden received 5 Student Draft deferments, plus a Medical Disqualification because he was once diagnosed with Asthma as a teenager.

[In my Boot Camp, after I was drafted, my barracks looked like a hospital ward with all the draftees with ailments which were of no deferment value during the Vietnam War [one was a Med Student who received a Medical "Retirement" since he had been drafted with a deadly heart ailment; he's still drawing retirement pay as a retired Pvt E1]

It would seem that Trump has captured the hearts of the Latino community as evidenced by this crowd
Most of these folks either have first hand knowledge of vicious or corrupt governments from which they fled<
