My first thought when these forest fires were being set in Canada was the smokescreen would be a substitute/replacement for the Chemtrails.
Now, I’ve noticed rainstorms have no effect on the smoke,
And the smoke changes color as it enters the US.
Lastly, Benzene & Formaldehyde have been detected in this “smokescreen”.

I’ll designate this now as a biological warfare attack.

My next recommendation would be to advise Canada that we will help put out the fires with B-52s conducting a carpet bombing of the forest fires.

I’m not much of a fan of the Service academies.

They do produce some excellent officers, but the majority I’ve encountered have been arrogant, spoiled brats, incompetent on the battlefield, and condescending toward enlisted troops and non-academy officers.

They’re called Ring Knockers since, inany assemblage, the tap their academy rings to let everyone know they’re “academy”.
Lying, cheating, and stealing are part of their culture, and senior non-academy officers learn to regret attempting to discipline these jerks.

I refused to have an academy grad in any of my commands.

Keep in mind, these are political appointments, not necessarily based on academic achievements, which is why they award sports scholarships.

My view is we would be better off commissioning officers from the enlisted ranks, rather than creating elitists.
