Dear Students,

I am writing to address the irregularities in lecture postings and to announce changes to the exam schedule. This is based on a report sent to my personal contact by a concerned student as regards the subject matter.

To begin with, I sincerely apologize on behalf of the seminary for any inconvenience these irregularities may have caused and assure you that we are taking steps to rectify the situation.

FINDINGS:
1. Corporate Chaplaincy: Only six (6) lectures have been posted.

2. Christian Life Coaching: Only six (6) lectures have been posted.

3. Christian Administration, Christian Caregiving, and Christian Philosophy: No lectures were posted.

4. Christian Counseling: All lectures have been posted.

5. Christian Mediation: All lectures have been posted.

RESOLUTIONS:
1. 30% Discount:
To express our sincere apologies, we are offering a 30% discount on all credentials for every student registered for this cohort of short courses.

2. Exam Schedule Changes:
We will not proceed with the examination earlier scheduled for today, 13th April.

April 20: Christian Counseling & Christian Mediation exams.

May 4: Corporate Chaplaincy & Life Coaching exams.

New exam dates for the other courses will be announced before May 4.

Further, we will communicate any additional resolutions we reach in the coming days.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SPIRIT BROOD THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Subject: Resumption of Operations and Institutional Updates

1. Background and Key Update

In April 2024, we faced significant administrative and organizational challenges that necessitated a temporary closure of the Seminary. This included a strategic decision to dissolve our Wyoming structure and undertake a comprehensive overhaul of our system. Our goal was to build a more robust institution that could better serve the body of Christ with high-quality, accessible, and tuition-free theological education.

During this period, we conducted an extensive review of our curriculum to ensure that our programs are both relevant and impactful, recruited distinguished faculty, and appointed a capable administrative team to better serve our mission, as well as to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

After a year of meticulous rebuilding, we are now set to deliver an improved, borderless (100% online), and tuition-free theological education to the body of Christ.

2. Reconstitution as a Florida Entity

Spirit Brood Theological Seminary has now been re-established as a Florida-based institution. We fully operate in compliance with Section 1005.06(1)(f) of the Florida Statutes and Rule 6E-5.001 of the Florida Administrative Code. Consequently, we are authorized by Florida’s Commission on Independent Education to award degrees in the fields of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, and social work.

3. Expanded Course Offerings

In addition to our existing programs, we have expanded our course offerings to better equip our students for impactful ministry and service. We invite you to visit our official website at spiritbrood.org to explore the new face of Spirit Brood Theological Seminary and stay updated on these latest developments.

4. Resolution of Pending Examinations

We recognize that some students had pending examinations before our temporary closure. We have compiled a priority list of affected individuals and will be reaching out to them directly once we finalize arrangements to conduct these exams. You can access the priority list here.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Seminary’s board has approved the following compensatory measures for those affected:

- Upon successfully passing their pending examinations, individuals on the priority list will receive their e-certificate free of charge. That means they will not have to pay the e-Certificate cost of $45.

- They will also be eligible to enroll in one other certificate course of their choice at a 50% discount.

5. Final Remark

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who reached out with words of encouragement and support during our restructuring phase. Your belief in this mission has been a great source of strength and inspiration. We also appreciate the patience of those who had pending examinations and assure you that we remain committed to delivering the highest standard of theological education.
