Почему нейросети не понимают нежность (и что с этим делать)

Ничего не делать, нейросети понимают нежность – и это хорошие новости!

Если в случае со страхом и злостью мы избегали использования прямых слов-эмоций (fear, anger и т.д.), то с нежностью стратегия немного другая.

Чтобы понять почему, давайте разложим эмоции по двум осям: возбуждение (высокое/низкое) и валентность (позитивная/негативная).

🔥 Высокое возбуждение + позитивная валентность: радость, восторг, эйфория.
🌪 Высокое возбуждение + негативная валентность: страх, злость, паника.
🌿 Низкое возбуждение + позитивная валентность: нежность, покой, умиротворение.
🌧 Низкое возбуждение + негативная валентность: грусть, апатия, тоска.

При работе с ИИ-моделями мы получаем следующее:
anger → немедленно даёт перекошенное лицо, сжатые кулаки (слишком буквально)
fear → дикие глаза, открытый рот (слишком буквально)
tenderness → улыбка, объятия, пастельные тона (слишком обобщённо, слащаво или неявно, но может и повезти!)

Можно было бы сказать, что сильные эмоции модели преувеличивают, а слабые преуменьшают, но по моему опыту это не совсем так. У моделей просто нет четкого визуального прототипа для состояний с низким возбуждением.

Поэтому для нежности (и её соседей по табличке) мы можем и должны использовать слова-эмоции как базу — они зададут нужный регистр и сделают эмоцию более явной. Но чтобы избежать стоковой «пластмассовости», нам нужно обязательно уточнить движения, например: fingers hovering (пальцы замерли в воздухе), almost-smile (полу-улыбка), no indentation (без вдавливания кожи).
