Priority is itself a resource and a lot of people's priorities are fucked. The Romans didnβt stop maintaining their cities because they built roads to new frontiers. The British didnβt stop industrial progress because they mapped the globe. Just because one person worked hard towards civilizational strides doesn't mean theyre simultaneously throwing someone under the bus. You are the one throwing yourself under the bus.
