The Gen Z stare is the momentary pause while deciding whether or not it's worth it to lose your job over telling an idiot customer that he's an idiot.

Good morning ^______^
How do they decide when manufacturing something what size of battery to make it require?
Voltage=current*resistance
Wattage=voltage*current
Calculate for all internal sub components. This determines battery voltage and current required. Then ask: how long must the device run for? A few minutes, hours, months, etc. this determines battery capacity. Then a few options are selected based on other factors like heat loss, recharge-ability, cost, etc to narrow down the scope until right battery is selected from available options
