The traditional medicine RAINBOW Corn, also known as Maize, was an important crop to us Native Americans. Not this Gmo, Frankenstein toxic corn today. Rainbow corn was eaten at almost every meal, this was one of the our main foods.
Mortars and pestles made from either rock or wood, corn was placed into the hollowed out mortar and then by pounding the corn with the pestle, this would grind it up into a powdery form. Corn meal could then be used for cornbread, or corn pudding. Often corn meal was mixed with beans to make succotash or to thicken other foods.
The husks from the corn cob were also used. Braided, the husks would become masks, sleeping mats, baskets and even cornhusk dolls. Shoes were sometimes made of corn husks. All that would be left was the corncob. These were used to make darts, to burn as fuel, or made into ceremonial rattling sticks, & various other items.
Preserve traditional Medicine!
These seeds are still around today.

Great Spirit, Great Spirit, my Grandfather, all over the earth the faces of living things are all alike . . . Look upon these faces of children without number and with children in their arms, that they may face the winds and walk the good road to the day of the quiet.

The Pulse β Oct 8 to 13 Oct β Gene Key 57 β This week we come together to practise the art of honing our intuition. Let us temper the blades of our intuition. Let us trust in the intuition despite what our mind may say. Clarity and harmony will be the eventual result.
Every six days, we will contemplate the current Gene Key of the week together, and each audio will be available for free to listen to until it transitions to the next key.
