Our sacred elders across all cultures embody timeless wisdom, traditions, customs, and languages that are irreplaceable. Once lost it's gone forever. We have a big responsibility to honor them. The best way to do this is by keeping traditions, customs, and language alive. Sadly much of the modern generation, are disconnected to their traditional roots, and dont do this. They have lost so much including identity. Recording yeasteryears, prayers, recipes and sayings is a way of honoring the elders.

May this be a reminder.
