On Saturday, January 20, 2024, a new era begins. Pluto will be entering Aquarius and ushering in major shifts - affecting your personal potential and the way the world operates.

Pluto represents transformation by way of death and rebirth, and it reveals the shadow side of whatever it touches. Since 2008, Pluto has been in Capricorn, where it exposed the shadow side of our systems, financial and otherwise, starting with the 2008 financial collapse.

Now Pluto will change signs and move into Aquarius, which is a rare event. Aquarius is about consciousness, revolutionary energy, and innovative ideas. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, the French and American Revolutions were taking place.

Pluto has an irregular orbit. In March 2023, it spent three months in Aquarius before reentering Capricorn. In 2024 it will continue to go back and forth between the two signs. Aquarius is the opposite of Capricorn - it’s about the future, while Capricorn is about the past. So this year, we are in the crosshairs, the juxtaposition of letting go of the old and embracing the new.

At the Pattern, we don't believe in predictive astrology, but there's likely no coincidence that Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn from September 1 - November 19, 2024, which happens to coincide with the United States presidential election. And then Pluto will fully reside in Aquarius for the next 19 years, and we will have entered the new paradigm.

Aquarius is about equality and objectivity - it’s a humanitarian archetype.

People would go to these Cathedrals if they could not heal-thyselfs. They are believed to be built ontop of places where water flows underneath. Most old cathedrals used to have a water well inside them, and people would go to these if they was sick, hence the term "I'm not feeling very well".
