Palé was a Greek form of grappling performed on earth or sand. In order to establish rites and traditions that will mold men we too will seek to found traditions to pass down which will instill in them a desire for confrontation, an inclination toward heroic action, comfort in adversity, and commitment to brotherhood.

This Winter we will establish this “Rite of Palé” which will include cold water immersion, a heavy log race, and culminating in a grappling contest on sand and then a night spent in the forest at high elevation in the cold. This is the Rite of Palé.

We did our first family puzzle. Puzzles provide a valuable way to teach kids pattern recognition and algorithmic thinking. Small children at first solve puzzles by putting arbitrary pieces together until they find one that fits.

This works for very small puzzles and would also work for large puzzles but it would take a prohibitively long time. Showing them different strategies for solving puzzles and finding pieces that fit together introduces problem solving concepts, like the understanding that something might work but something else might be more efficient.

Have lots of children and organize your time so that you can spend as much time with them as possible. Keep them out of the hands of modern “educators”.

Over the years I’ve had friends and associates who weren’t in the movement but knew about me and what I believed in. Then one day they get weird, they don’t pick up calls, they don’t want our kids to play together, they get distant out of nowhere.
