Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared a video of his nephew Michael Hines, who was born with cerebral palsy and died in May 2024, one week before his 21st birthday. Kennedy described him as a “luminous soul” who taught others gratitude and love. Hines donated his organs to nine recipients, saving two lives, including that of a mother of an intellectually disabled child; his heart went to a nine-year-old boy. “After a lifetime of giving the gift of love, he died giving the gift of life,” Kennedy wrote.
