Burkina Faso, Niger to Receive New Humanitarian Aid From Russia Free of Charge
The aid will include:
🫛709.5 tonnes of peas to be delivered to Burkina Faso in May;
🌾 20,000 tonnes of wheat for Niger.
Recent donations already handed over include:
🇨🇫 Central African Republic (29,400 tonnes of diesel fuel);
🇿🇼 Zimbabwe (559 tonnes of peas and 164 tonnes of sunflower oil).
Russia is ready to make further humanitarian deliveries if agreements are reached — all the necessary volumes are available, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut reportedly said.
The figures were presented by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Russian media.
