Now itโs either a niche horror movie or a movie by some big shot director and nothing else

Episode 4 is finally here! ๐๏ธ๐ฅ
I sat down with Birhan Nega, a software developer with over 10 years of experience, entrepreneur, company founder and content creator.
We talked about his journey in tech, building a company in Ethiopia, working with international teams, discipline, remote opportunities, AI and what genuinely separates an experienced engineer from someone who only knows how to write code.

EthioDeploy is not profitable yet and Iโm paying for everything out of pocket but it truly makes me happy to see over a hundred projects from our community hosted on it
It makes me feel that I have put my positive mark on the developer community, even if that is with a negative bank balance ๐๐

I spent the last few weeks trying to answer one question with actual data: can you make money off of sports betting?
So I simulated 22,900 bets. $100 flat stakes at real closing odds, 6 leagues, 5 seasons, 12 betting strategies, plus 2 real statistical models I built and trained with zero hindsight.
The result: โ$191,545. Every league lost. Both models lost everywhere. Not a single rule that worked in one league survived the other five.
I turned everything into an interactive site with every chart, every table, and a bet-slip widget where you can pick any league, any season, any strategy and see how you'd have done. Try to beat it ๐
