Just days after unveiling of Artists Equity, I was thrilled to attend and speak to both local and global audiences about the details of my new production company with Andrew Ross Sorkin as the host at 2022 DealBook Conference.

Every year, they bring together the most consequential people at the intersection of business, policy and culture that are impacting society. The conversations would address the complicated, turbulent global landscape and seek to find solutions for the future of business, tech, policy and more with the pre-eminent lineup of speakers for its annual event.
Serving as CEO of Artists Equity, I discussed about my bold plans to broaden profit participation to include the cast and crew of a production and reimagine the relationships between studios and artists working in the entertainment industryβ€”how Artists Equity will work and change Hollywood, as well as what kind of projects will result.
Alongside Matt Damon as Chief Creative Officer and Cardinale, RedBird's founder and managing partner, I am hoping to create a production model that stands on the opposite end of Netflix's onslaught of content. We plan to partner with filmmakers to empower creative vision and broaden access to profit participation through "enterpreneurial partnerships" with them.
Forwarded from Dear Marybeth,
I wish I had the ability to know the words you want to hear and things you want me to say because God knows how many times I have failed to understand you in my language. But if I have the chance to tell you something I want your heart to listen, I hope you can find your faith within my words once again. That even years from now, I still want to see my love growing for the same person I love today and that person is you. I want to watch myself proving that I can make you feel loved in a way you have longed for so long. I offered you a pair of my hands that you can trust, a safe space in my arms to hide, but still it's not enough to pay back so much life you have given me ever since I met you. And I know it too well that pretty thing like you don't just happen to somebody like me, Marybeth. But maybe, handing you the last piece of my heart would make me deserving of you, of your tiny smile that flips my world upside down, of your beauty that is quiet and subtle, one kind that I have never seen in what felt like eternity.

For years, I never thought I was good enough to be something but the day I found you, you have convinced me that I am worthy of the love I want. And I want that to be yours, I want it to be mine, sweetheart. For only your love has its way of repairing me and my heart, turning it into a place you have the pleasure of calling your home.
