In Vermont, they don't want you to be self-reliant and growing your own food. They want you hungry and struggling to survive.

You may only purchase seeds online, but the supply is low.

Start seed saving from organic produce you buy, the vids are online.
Saving Seeds

With regards to store-bought fruit and vegetable seeds. Some places have stopped selling them altogether. Some are hiking-up prices. In my area, theyโ€™re still pretty-well available... for now.

My suggestion to you, whether you plan on using them or not, would be to invest in a good variety of seeds. Theyโ€™re too cheap not to.

- If you donโ€™t plan on using them this year, store them in a cool, dry place.

- When packaging your seeds, be sure that theyโ€™re exposed to as little moisture as possible. Small glass jars or ziploc-type bags work well. Even Tupperware, if you can spare any. Personally, I'll be using an aluminized mylar bag and an oxygen absorber and storing my leftovers in the freezer.

- Even if you donโ€™t use them this season, buying seeds is an investment in your future. Hell, you could use them as currency.

Hereโ€™s how many YEARS you can expect your seeds to remain viable, under the right storage conditions:

Anarchist tip! If you need to steal these get the nice heirloom seeds and a flatbed cart. Sandwich all your seed packets between some big bags of manure or potting soil, making due the UPC is visible. Stack another two on top. Make sure you're leaving with like eight cubic feet of the same shit, and your seeds are under the top six. Can spend 20 dollars on literal horse shit this way, leave with 100 dollars worth of nice seeds.

Just updated this, anyone that forwarded it should go ahead and use the new version.

On that note if y'all buy/appropriate stuff for gardening, post your haul in the discussion for accolades and tips! There's a lot of varied experience in there.
