Hank - Model citizen, but still an MSM consoomer until the panics hit. Purchases a 1000 gallon propane tank and a muffled generator after an eye-opening talk with Gribble. Puts in the extra 500 bucks to put it underground. Peggy and Bobby are home all day and he's not very successful in getting Peggy to change habits. Bobby manages to mobilize his peers to spam the Arlen ISD app with one star reviews and have it removed from the app store. Connie keeps the news from her parents and under the guise of 'maintaining a secure test environment' deftly negotiates unlimited unsupervised computer time. She binge watches Steven Universe with Bobby over live chat. She's 100% convinced that the eponymous Maheswaran is a model for restructuring her own life. Bobby just wishes his dad played guitar and let him live with magical girls. Hank told the Souphanousinphones about the app shutdown but his respirator garbled it.

Boomhauer - is primarily subsisting on a chest freezer of frozen dinners and farming crawfish in a pair of large inflatable pools. Wears boxers every day, filled a cart with panic buy.. at the local sex shop. Gets called to don his white brimmed hat and take an emergency duty assignment through his normally secret job - with the Texas rangers. Attempts to confide in Hank his position in the Texas rangers, the FEMA camp construction nearby, and what kind of enforcement they're preparing to undertake with Martial law. Hank misunderstands him and thinks he's talking about the Arlington Major League Baseball team, 'The Texas Rangers', that recently announced an end-of-play along with other national sports leagues. Hank thinks 'Marshall Law' is the team's new manager, and mentions it to Dale, who gets the gist.

Dale was already prepped, the only things he's hitting the shelves to hoard are cigarettes and weird shit non preppers wouldn't understand, like clock springs, pool shock, pantyhose, and automotive oil filters. He realizes he might need to go into this for the long term, and consults John Redcorn to learn the methods of 'Anasazi Companion planting' which irritates John Redcorn and prompts a fruitless conversation about being a Puebloan and anasazi being a slur, but ultimately takes on the task of teaching him to grow food and tobacco. The two grow close and Dale, considering his wife and son, broaches the subject of exploring a poly relationship two months after germination -- the dinner celebrating their first harvest. Goes on Joe Rogan under alias wearing full NBC gear to share his experiences, makes a sentimental and inspiring connection to all his loved ones listening in, at least until the weed hits.

Bill gets furloughed as nonessential, and his jeep is kept on base as it is essential. The social distancing measures clashed hard with his depressive tendencies. Since Dale has a decontamination shower and NBC gear, Bill approaches weeping and blubbering with outstretched arms begging for a hug as Dale and Redcorn are planting the Gribble front lawn. This earns him a takedown from John, spooked by Dale's screeching and recent descriptions of viral zombie hoards. Dale is somewhat sympathetic but threatens that his new perimeter system, when armed, could ventilate a flock of grackles before the first one hit the ground so he had best use the intercom and respect his signage. Bill attempts suicide running his rental car in the garage, a Nissan leaf. He's found by a Jehovah's witness and gets sucked in to Kingdom hall events, and his mastery of a half dozen languages rapidly make him one of the most valued members of the local ministry. They praise him at meetings, thankful Jehovah God has delivered him unto them and kept him safe from the virus. He is a super spreader.
