(LIVE SULFUR DIOXIDE READINGS OVER WUHAN)
They are burning LOTS of bodies AGAIN.
This is week 6 of the lockdown.
That is 2300 parts per million -
LD50 for a mouse is 3000 ppm exposure for 30 minutes. 2500 ppm will kill a rat after 1 hour.
The lowest published lethal dose for a human is 1000ppm after 10 minutes, and 3000 ppm after 5 minutes... (wiki)
The air over Wuhan right now is quite lethal.
Who knew burning humans can kill other humans?
Apparently it can.

#FeaturedBug - Since it's March, let's talk about march flies! Specifically, the love bug (Plecia nearctica). The one pictured is a male, as evidenced by the larger head and eyes (credit to Perry Babin on BugGuide). These flies will swarm in very large numbers during their mating seasons. The adults are able to mate as soon as they eclose, and will stay connected during copulation, which can last several days. They are even able to fly together this way.
