👆👆اخراج ۲۸۵۰ کارمند مایکروسافت

مایکروسافت رسماً برنامه بازخرید اجباری (اخراج محترمانه) 2850 نفر از کارمندان خود در سراسر جهان را تأیید کرد.

قرار است در برنامه خانه‌تکانی جدید تا پایان 2017 بیش از 2850 کارمند این کمپانی از شعب سراسر جهان از کار بیکار شوند.

این تعداد به آمار 1850 اخراج محترمانه دیگر که در ماه می 2016 اعلام شد، افزوده می‌شود.

سال گذشته 7400 نیرو که عمدتاً از بخش موبایل بودند از مایکروسافت اخراج شدند و امسال تنها چیزی که مشخص‌شده این است که 900 نفر از 2850 نیرو از بخش فروش محصولات نرم‌افزاری خواهند بود.

اخیراً «کوین ترنر» مسئول توسعه فروش، مایکروسافت را تَرک کرد که این موضوع نشان می‌دهد مدیران ارشد از بخش فروش ناراضی هستند.

فروش‌های ناامیدکننده لومیای مایکروسافت

مایکروسافت از آوریل تا ژوئن 2016 تنها توانسته 1.2 میلیون گوشی هوشمند لومیا بفروشد که این رقم ناامیدکننده اعلام‌شده است.

این در حالی است که فروش در فصل اول 5.8 میلیون گوشی، در فصل دوم 4.5 میلیون و در فصل سوم نیز 2.3 میلیون گوشی بوده و رقم 1.2 واقعاً ناامیدکننده به شمار می‌آید.

مایکروسافت درمجموع تا پایان ژوئن 13.8 میلیون گوشی فروخته است.

Software Development Cycles

1. Programmer produces code he believes is bug-free.
2. Product is tested. 20 bugs are found.
3. Programmer fixes 10 of the bugs and explains to the testing
department that the other 10 aren’t really bugs.
4. Testing department finds that five of the fixes didn’t work and
discovers 15 new bugs.
5. Repeat three times steps 3 and 4.
6. Due to marketing pressure and an extremely premature product
announcement based on overly-optimistic programming schedule, the
product is released.
7. Users find 137 new bugs.
8. Original programmer, having cashed his royalty check, is nowhere
to be found.
9. Newly-assembled programming team fixes almost all of the 137
bugs, but introduce 456 new ones.
10. Original programmer sends underpaid testing department a
postcard from Fiji. Entire testing department quits.
11. Company is bought in a hostile takeover by competitor using
profits from their latest release, which had 783 bugs.
12. New CEO is brought in by board of directors. He hires a
programmer to redo program from scratch.
