Badri Khamenei, sister of Ali kahamenei, has denounced his brother. Stating that his brother is deaf and blind towards the ongoing protests. She said "My brother can't hear the people properly and thinks that what mercenary and military groups relay to him is the truth." She continued "I ask the military and the army to put down their guns and join the people's side"

For many years, the FBI targeted ecological activists as their #1 priority. This is one of the chief reasons environmental devastation has continued unchecked.

Seventeen years ago today, on December 7, 2005, the FBI opened a new phase of their assault on earth and animal liberation movements with the arrests and indictments of a large number of activists. This became known as the Green Scare.
