The matter of dignity and honor is behaving properly in specific situations. Standing up for yourself, your loved ones, friends and strangers. Supporting the weak and those who need help at the moment.
The revolutionary issue is something more. It is to stand together with other people to defend their own rights and interests. It means working together, organizing in trade unions, tenant associations, political groups working to change the system to a fairer one.
Today, on the occasion of our Workers' Day - May 1, you can see several banners with our postulates in the city.
"RIGHT TO DECENT WORK"
because each and every one of us is part of society and has a need to act for its good. Our daily existence requires work for the benefit of others. Staying alive, caring for our loved ones and giving our time and ability to be able to get goods and services in return that we are unable to produce ourselves is a necessity. We manufacture, transport and sell to receive something in return. Following the constitution: "Public authorities pursue policies aimed at full and productive employment, through the implementation of programs to combat unemployment, including the organization and support of vocational guidance and training as well as public works and intervention works." We demand this in times of crisis and every day! Work should not be a privilege, but a right for every person who wants to contribute to the world around us!
RIGHT TO HOUSING
because each and every one of us, to be able to function normally, needs a place to rest, to feel safe and be able to realize our family life. We need a home! According to the constitution: "Public authorities pursue policies conducive to satisfying the housing needs of citizens, in particular preventing homelessness, supporting the development of social housing and supporting the activities of citizens aimed at obtaining their own housing." We demand that these rights be respected every day and especially in times of crisis when the lives of each and every one of us are uncertain.
The capitalist system convinced us that we are not worth anything. That we are just a tool in the hands of those who want to multiply their wealth, offering us in return the dream of a better tomorrow, cheap entertainment and a bunch of lies.
OUR ANSWER IS - IT'S US, WORKING PEOPLE WHO CREATE THIS WORLD FOR EACH OTHER AND MAKE IT FUNCTION
We want a world in which profits from our work are shared JUSTLY, in which everyone has their basic needs met, not having to live in fear of tomorrow and fear, for their own and their family's existence.
