It’s been a terrible year for UPSC and the aspirants.

With faith shaken, lives taken and no particular corrective action in sight, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to carry on business as usual.

Things need to move and they need to move faster.

Authorities need to communicate their plans and they need to communicate better.

We need to be assured that by preparing for UPSC we are not fighting an unfair, losing battle.

It’s not the time to mince words.
It’s the time to repeat what we have always said and felt.
That ORN is a ticking time bomb.
And it has already started exploding.

The mania needs to be fixed.
The mania to prepare from Delhi.
The mania to stay in that war zone and needlessly make UPSC prep tapasaya of a different sort.
The mania to feel the environment, which has hindered more minds than it might have ever activated.

Most importantly, the mania to prepare for this exam and making it larger than anything else in this country.

Before moving forward, it’s important that those who have made their choices to stay there in Delhi, that they be made safe.

Assume this to be a start of a long protracted fight against the system that is so vast that maybe in distant future, when this all will change for better, we’ll not even be around to witness it.

Until then let’s just pray for safer times.

Until then let’s just fight 🙏
