Kunar River

✅About :
- A transboundary river flowing through the Hindu Kush Mountains, shared between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
- Known as the Chitral River in Pakistan.
✅Origin :
- Rises from the Chiantar Glacier near the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in Gilgit-Baltistan.
✅ Course and Flow :
- Flows east to west through rugged mountain terrain.
- Originates in Pakistan’s Chitral region.
Enters Afghanistan’s Kunar and Nangarhar provinces.
- Re-enters Pakistan and merges with the Kabul River near Jalalabad (Afghanistan).
The combined flow later joins the Indus River near Attock (Pakistan).

- Pech River
- Lotkoh River
