My math teacher taught us total BS for like a week and gave us a (non-graded) quiz on what he taught us.
Afterwards, when he went over the quiz he revealed that all of what he taught us was totally wrong and made it a lesson on don't believe everything you hear.

For anyone interested, he was teaching us about how almost every spiral in nature is the golden spiral, and that how painters, architects, musicians, and even dentists use the golden ratio in their work.
This isn't true, of course, and the Nautilus shell, the most abused example of the golden spiral, isn't even a true example of the golden ratio.
