Candlesticks as language: OHLCV price bars become tokens, a Transformer trained on them like words in a sentence
Trained at scale: over 12 billion price bars from 45+ exchanges in 30+ countries
Three jobs in one: forecasts price, predicts volatility, and generates realistic synthetic markets
Beats the best prior model: authors claim 93% higher forecasting accuracy than the strongest previous time-series model

How Kronos works, and what it needs
Kronos comes from Tsinghua University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (Yu Shi, Zongliang Fu, Shuo Chen, Bohan Zhao, Wei Xu, Changshui Zhang, Jian Li). The paper was accepted at AAAI 2026.
It turns OHLCV price bars into discrete tokens, the same move an LLM makes with text, then trains a Transformer on the resulting sequence. The authors pre-trained it on over 12 billion K-line records from 45+ global exchanges, across 7 time frequencies from 1 minute to weekly, spanning 30+ countries.
The authors' own benchmark (arXiv 2508.02739) reports 93% higher RankIC, a forecasting-accuracy metric, than the strongest prior time-series foundation model, 87% higher than the best non-pretrained baseline, 9% lower error in volatility forecasting, and a 22% gain in how realistic its generated synthetic price data looks. No independent benchmark is cited.
It ships as a family of sizes: Kronos-mini at 4.1M parameters up to Kronos-base; mini, small and base are released under the MIT license with weights on Hugging Face. The catch: Kronos-large, the biggest version at 499.2M parameters, stays closed-source.
Requires: Python and the open weights downloaded from Hugging Face; the README does not list specific GPU, VRAM or OS requirements.
Kronos is free and self-hosted: inference runs on the open weights on your own machine, so there is no API key or subscription to pay for intelligence here.
Use it instead of a generic time-series model like Chronos when you specifically want finance-tuned forecasts. Don't expect the strongest version, Kronos-large, since that one isn't public.
Try it:git clone https://github.com/shiyu-coder/Kronos, then load the mini, small or base weights from Hugging Face.

You direct through your agent: describe the story, Claude Code builds the film
Frame by frame, scored and voiced: canvas and WebGL pictures, an original score, text-to-speech narration
Tuned for Opus 5.5: other models may not reproduce the styles well
How Lemo Opuscar works
It ships as a skill for Claude Code. You install it once, then just describe the film in plain language, for example "a 45 second watercolor film about my family's coffee farm, warm female narrator". Your agent picks a style, writes the code and renders the finished film.
Every frame is drawn on canvas or in WebGL and rendered frame by frame, no video generation model or stock footage is involved. Music is composed from free sample libraries, narration comes from text-to-speech, and the code for all of it is written by Claude Opus 5.5 itself.
The toolbox counts 59 ready styles in its own README. Its flagship demo, OPUSCAR 98, is separate: one film walking through all 98 Best Picture winners in 77 2D, 4 2.5D and 17 3D styles, a split the project's own demo page lists.
The catch, stated plainly in the README: the styles are tuned for Claude Opus 5.5, and other models may not reproduce them well.
Requires: the Claude Code CLI, and access to Claude Opus 5.5, which means your own API key or Claude subscription pays for the model. The toolbox itself is free, released under MIT and CC BY 4.0. The README names no OS or hardware requirements.
To install:claude plugin marketplace add lemomo-ai/lemo-opuscarclaude plugin install lemo-opuscar@lemolab
Then just tell it what film you want, from any folder.
Use it instead of a stock-footage edit or a text-to-video generator when you want a stylized short film built entirely from code you can read and change. Don't use it if you need live-action footage, or don't have Opus 5.5 access.

Lemo-Opuscar vs Remotion
Both let a coding agent turn a plain-English idea into a finished video by writing rendering code instead of calling a video-generation model, which is why anyone shopping for a code-made-film workflow for Claude Code ends up weighing Lemo-Opuscar's 59 ready styles against Remotion, the established video-as-code framework that now ships its own Claude Code plugin.
Pick Lemo-Opuscar if you want a one-line prompt to become a finished short film, styled, scored and voiced, without writing or reviewing any code yourself
Pick Remotion if you're a developer who needs programmatic, data-driven or templated video at scale, in a React codebase you can own and extend
Price & Licence
Lemo-Opuscar: free, MIT and CC BY 4.0
Remotion: free under 3 people, else paid
Setup & Workflow
Lemo-Opuscar: Claude Code plugin, no code
Remotion: React project, agent assisted
Core Strength
Lemo-Opuscar: 59 styles, scored and voiced
Remotion: scalable, data driven video
Main Limits
Lemo-Opuscar: locked to Opus 5.5
Remotion: paid past three people

Side by side, in full
Price & Licence
Lemo-Opuscar's code and docs are MIT and its demo films are CC BY 4.0, so the toolbox itself is free; the only recurring cost is the Claude Opus 5.5 usage each 30-60 minute film run burns through.
Remotion is free for individuals and companies of up to three people; beyond that a Company Licence applies, from $25/month per seat for manual work or $0.01 per render ($100/month minimum) for automated pipelines, up to Enterprise at $500/month.
Setup & Workflow
Lemo-Opuscar: Install Lemo-Opuscar as a Claude Code plugin, describe your story in a sentence, and Claude Opus 5.5 writes every line of rendering code, the score and the narration itself inside a project folder; the user never touches code.
Remotion needs a real React/TypeScript video project; its own Claude Code plugin and skill pack (captions, render, studio, markup) let an agent write that code for you, but a developer still owns a codebase that renders via headless Chromium.
Core Strength
Lemo-Opuscar ships 59 ready film styles plus a built-in pipeline for original music and text-to-speech narration, so one line of story becomes a finished, scored and voiced short film.
Remotion is built for programmatic, data-driven or templated video at scale (ads, reports, personalized clips rendered by the thousand via Lambda), with no built-in music scoring or voice narration in its own skills.
Main Limits
Lemo-Opuscar's styles are tuned specifically for Claude Opus 5.5, the README warns other models may not reproduce them well, and each film still costs an agent 30-60 minutes and a fair amount of tokens.
Remotion's own skills leave music sync and narration to the developer, rendering runs through a headless-Chromium pipeline, and any team past three people needs a paid Company or Enterprise Licence.
Who's Behind It
Lemo-Opuscar is a solo project by a creator going by Lemomo (@lemomo_ai), released as an MIT/CC BY 4.0 plugin through the lemolab marketplace.
Remotion is built by Remotion AG, a company whose open-source core has about 66,000 GitHub stars, 5 million monthly npm installs and a 10,000-plus member Discord.

What's in the repo
Knowledge Work Plugins is Anthropic's open-source collection of 11 plugins for Claude Cowork, also usable in Claude Code. Each plugin is just markdown and JSON: a plugin.json manifest, an .mcp.json for tool connections, a commands/ folder for slash commands you trigger yourself, and skills/ that Claude draws on automatically. No code, no infrastructure, no build step.
The eleven cover productivity, sales, customer-support, product-management, marketing, legal, finance, data, enterprise-search, bio-research, and a meta plugin (cowork-plugin-management) for building your own. That count of 11 is the project's own tally, not an independent benchmark.
Connectors differ per plugin: sales wires to Slack, HubSpot, Close, Clay and ZoomInfo; finance to Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery; bio-research to PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov and ChEMBL, among others.
Requires: Claude Cowork or Claude Code, the Claude CLI to install from the marketplace, and credentials for whichever external tools a given plugin connects to (HubSpot, Snowflake, Slack, etc). The README names no OS, chip or memory requirements.
The catch: these plugins are generic starting points. You still edit .mcp.json to point at your own stack and drop your company's terms into the skill files before Claude works like it was built for your team.
The tool itself is free and open source. Running it still means paying for Claude Cowork or Claude Code access, plus whatever the connected services (HubSpot, Snowflake, Fireflies) already cost you.
To try it in Claude Code:claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins
claude plugin install sales@knowledge-work-plugins
In Cowork, install straight from claude.com/plugins.
Use it instead of writing MCP servers from scratch when your team already lives in tools like Slack, Notion or Snowflake. Don't use it if you're not on Cowork or Claude Code, or need more than a markdown-and-JSON skill to get the job done.

An open spec, not a product
Cursor plugins is the official plugin spec plus the first batch of official and third-party plugins. Each one is just a folder at the repo root with its own.cursor-plugin/plugin.jsonmanifest, no hidden SDK required.
The README's table spans Utilities, Developer Tools, Productivity and Integrations: Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides sit next to GitHub, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, Docusign, Semrush and dozens more connectors.
One plugin, Advisor, is pure workflow rather than an integration: it consults a stronger model before major decisions, when the agent is stuck, and before it declares a task done.
Requires: Cursor itself to load any plugin, plus your own account or API credentials for whichever service you connect (Gmail, Salesforce, GitHub...). The README names no hardware requirements.
The plugins are free and open source; Cursor and whatever service you connect are whatever you already pay for, the repo doesn't add a new bill. The catch: there is no license file in the repo, so what you're actually allowed to do with the code isn't spelled out.
Use it instead of wiring your own MCP server when you want a manifest format Cursor already understands. Don't use it if the service you need isn't in the list yet, most of the batch is productivity and SaaS integrations, not general tool APIs.
Try it withgit clone https://github.com/cursor/plugins, then open any folder underthird_party/to see a real manifest before building your own with the create-plugin plugin.

The flagship demo, OPUSCAR 98, is the project's own showcase: one agent redraws all 98 Best Picture winners (1927 to 2025) in a style that fits each film, in a 6:31 video. The style and 2D/2.5D/3D counts come from the README, not an independent benchmark.

Rakazo is an open source, TypeScript agent the project pitches as an alternative to Grok Bot, Meta Muse, OpenAI Dots, and similar closed teammates. Each bot gets its own conversations, memory, routines, and history, and can delegate to peer bots or short-lived subagents.
Rakazo itself costs nothing. The intelligence does: you connect your own model credentials (OpenRouter or another supported provider) during onboarding, so you're paying that provider's API, not Rakazo.
Local Docker computers are on by default for sandboxing, or point it at E2B, Daytona, CreateOS, Boat, or Railway with that provider's API key.
Requires: Docker Engine, the Compose plugin, curl, and OpenSSL for the published-images install. For a source checkout instead: Node.js 22.22.2+ (or 24.x / 26+, not 23.x or 25.x) and pnpm 9.
The catch: it's beta, and every chat still burns model API usage on top of whatever you pay.

What's in the box
cursor/plugins is the official plugin repository for Cursor, the AI code editor. Each plugin lives in its own directory at the repo root (or under third_party/) with a .cursor-plugin/plugin.json manifest, the same format across all of them.
The README's own table lists more than 40 plugins across three categories: Developer Tools (Thermos for security audits, pstack, Advisor, Ralph Loop), Productivity (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar), and Integrations (GitHub, Playwright, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, Docusign, and more). That count is the project's own listing, not an outside benchmark.
Requires: Cursor itself installed and running. Every plugin executes inside Cursor, not as a standalone program. Most third-party plugins also need their own credentials: a Google account for Gmail or Drive, a GitHub token for the GitHub plugin, similar logins for Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, and the rest.
The catch: none of this runs without Cursor. No CLI or other editor is mentioned in the README, so if you're not already using Cursor, these plugins do nothing for you.
The repository itself is free and open source, written in TypeScript. Whether the whole setup costs money depends on your Cursor plan and whichever third-party accounts you connect. The README doesn't price those.
Use it instead of hand-writing your own MCP server when you want a maintained manifest for a common tool. Don't use it if you're not on Cursor, since none of this works elsewhere.
To try it, clone the repo and point Cursor at a plugin's manifest:git clone https://github.com/cursor/plugins

Eleven skills, one pipeline
Run them in order: recon, architect, design, build, backend, test, diff, entrepreneur, brand, launch, deploy. Each one reads what the last one wrote, in a replica/ folder in your project.
The README's own walkthrough, cloning a scheduling app, is where the numbers come from, not an independent benchmark: recon finds 18 screens and 7 flows, diff scores the finished clone 86 on features, and entrepreneur reads 140 real reviews across the App Store, G2, Capterra and Reddit to rank the top complaints.
Six of the eleven tools are plain Python, standard library only, none touch the network: imgdiff.py diffs screenshots by edge maps so new colours don't count against you, parity.py scores features.csv, reviews.py ranks complaints with a link back to every quote, sweep.py blocks the deploy until the original's name is gone from your code.
The catch: it clones what the app does, never what it owns. No source code, logos, copy or private APIs, and it only reads public pages or your own logged-in account, never behind someone else's login or a paywall.
Use it instead of hand-reverse-engineering a competitor to validate an app idea. Don't use it if you need the original's exact assets, logo or copy. The whole thing is deliberately clean-room.
Requires: Python 3.8 or newer for the Python tools, nothing to pip install, plus Claude Code or claude.ai to run the skills. No signup or API key on top of that, but Claude itself isn't free.
Try it: pastehttps://github.com/Jakeschincariol/replica-skillthen "install skill" into Claude, or in Claude Code run/plugin marketplace add Jakeschincariol/replica-skilland/plugin install replica-skill@replica-skill.

This duck robot falls over, then gets back up by itself
Microduck is a tiny biped duck robot that walks, rolls, and quacks. It runs reinforcement learning policies trained first in simulation.
▶️ Watch the video on YouTube
Self-righting: knocked over, it pushes itself back up
Simulated first: policies trained with RL in sim, then run for real
Walks on a gamepad: pick one up and drive it across the floor
Rolls on wheels: swap wheels in and it loads a different brain
Picks up and quacks: beak-first pickup, and its own quack voice

What's inside the duck
Microduck is about 25 cm and 800 g per the README, run by daemons on a Rockchip RK3566 board: robotd drives a 50 Hz control loop over fifteen servos, updaterd installs signed releases and rolls them back if a robot comes up unhealthy, and btd, padd, mediad, tofd handle Bluetooth, the gamepad, the camera and the depth sensor. Everything talks over one JSON-RPC contract on Unix sockets, written in Rust.
The walking and rolling policies are trained separately in microduck_rl: MuJoCo simulation, PPO, domain randomisation, then exported to ONNX and loaded here. The 50 Hz loop, the 25 cm/800 g size, and the servo count are the project's own description in the README, not an independent benchmark.
The code is free and open source, no API key or cloud model involved anywhere in the stack. What costs money is the duck itself: the catch is you need the physical robot, not just this repo. Pollen Robotics sells it directly, the link is in the README.
Requires: the physical Microduck hardware (the Rockchip RK3566 board is built in), a gamepad to drive it, and the wheels accessory for roller mode. Without a robot, runscripts/duck-simto drive the real daemons against a simulated body in MuJoCo instead.
Use it instead of a generic hobby biped kit when you want RL locomotion and the sim2real pipeline already solved. Don't use it if you are not buying the hardware: there is no way to run the robot's full real behaviour in software alone.

Your landing page has that eyebrow. Hallmark won't let it ship.
A design skill for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
It lints pages against the tells that read as AI-made, then builds around the job the page has to do.

No AI eyebrow: lints each page against the tells that read as machine-made
48 themes, 3 dealt: each a material, not a layout plan
Job over template: a booking page books, a shop sells
Point at your URL: it grabs its own screenshots to redesign or audit
755 real photos: openly licensed, credited by subject

How Hallmark runs
Hallmark itself is a free, MIT-licensed skill. But it runs inside your existing Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or OpenCode setup, so whatever model or API key you already pay for there is still doing the work. Hallmark adds nothing to the bill on its own.
A build deals three themes from a catalog of forty-eight materials (paper, type, colour, surfaces, its own components), each one a file under 8 KB. That count, and the 755 openly licensed photos credited by subject, are the project's own figures from its README, not an outside measurement.
It checks each page at eight widths with its own script, then a fresh-context reviewer looks again before anything ships. The static checks always run. The browser-based render and screenshot checks need Chrome andpuppeteer-coreinstalled, that's the main catch: skip them and you lose the rendering and screenshot lint.
Requires: Node 18 or later; Chrome plusnpm i -g puppeteer-corefor the render and screenshot checks.
Install withnpx skills add nutlope/hallmark -g, then describe a build or run/hallmark <prompt>. Point it at something that already exists with/hallmark redesign ./src/appor/hallmark audit ./index.html.
Use it instead of just asking your assistant to "make it look nicer" when you want a repeatable check against AI-slop tells. Don't use it if you're not already on one of those four harnesses.

Claude Code's plugin trick, now for Sales, Legal and Finance
Claude starts out knowing nothing about your CRM or your sales process.
Anthropic just open-sourced eleven ready-made Cowork roles that fix that, built with zero lines of code.
▶️ Watch the video on YouTube
Eleven office specialists: Sales, Legal, Finance, Support and more
Zero code inside: every plugin is just Markdown and JSON files
Plain English, not code: open one on GitHub and rewrite its instructions yourself
Two terminal commands: or one click inside Cowork
The catch: plugins stay local for now, and Cowork has had security bugs

Eleven ready-made roles, zero code
anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins is Anthropic's open-source repo of 11 plugins: Sales, Customer Support, Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Data, Enterprise Search, Productivity, Bio Research, and a meta-plugin for building new ones. Each is a folder with a JSON manifest, Markdown skills and commands, and MCP connectors to tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake, Jira, Asana and Box.
Anthropic's own example: a Sales plugin can connect to your CRM, learn your sales process, and draft follow-ups and prospect research. Nothing in any plugin is executable code, so anyone can open it on GitHub, read exactly how Claude is told to "do sales," and edit it like a text document.
Install into Claude Code with:claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/knowledge-work-pluginsclaude plugin install sales@knowledge-work-plugins
Or install any plugin into Cowork with one click from claude.com/plugins.
Requires: a paying Claude account, Claude Code or Cowork installed, and for most plugins an API key or login for the tool it connects to (CRM, Slack and similar). Anthropic calls this a research preview, shipped January 30, 2026.
The Decoder reports plugins currently run locally only, with enterprise-wide management "planned for later," and notes Cowork itself has had reported security vulnerabilities. The repo is Apache 2.0 and has grown to roughly 32.6k stars and 3.6k forks per GitHub.
Use it instead of a closed "custom GPT" style config when you want files you can read and fork. Don't use it yet if your team needs centralized, enterprise-wide plugin management: that part isn't built.
