After Chabahar in Iran, India has gained the rights to operate its 2nd overseas port located on the Kaladan River in Myanmar.
The Sittwe Port is part of the Kaladan multi-modal transit project: it aims to connect the eastern Indian seaport in Myanmar by sea, and further link Sittwe Port to Paletwa in Myanmar via Kaladan river waterway, and connect Paletwa to Zorinpui in Mizoram through a road component.

The implementation of EU standards and legislation throughout the country will stimulate the reconstruction of a united national space and the integration of the Transnistrian region into the European path of Moldova.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Serebrian spoke about this at a meeting held today, April 10, with the EU Special Representative for the Transnistrian settlement, Dlouci-Suliga.
