HUNGARY – Thousands of people protested in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, demanding the resignation of Prosecutor General and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán after Hungarian opposition leader Peter Magyar released an audio recording of bribery by Orbán's team — Reuters
The protesters marched with a torch from the General Prosecutor's Office to the parliament, shouting: "Resignation, resignation!".
Previously, Peter Magyar published a recording of a conversation with Judith Varga, at the time his wife and Minister of Justice of Hungary, in which she detailed an attempt by Orbán's chief of staff's aides to delete certain fragments from documents in the bribery case.
According to preliminary information, the opposition will announce a large protest action on April 6 demanding the resignation of Orban's Cabinet.
