The new violation of NATO airspace in the weekend by a Russian missile in Poland must lead to consultations and fast decisions about new rules of engagement in NATO Eastern Flank countries like Romania and Poland.
In Romania, for example, there are old rules of engagement that are not allowing Romanian Armed Forces to use any armaments or ammunition outside the shooting ranges.
NATO must have the legal support on all 32 allied territories to act immediately when a Russian threat emerges in NATO land, maritime or air space.
