In the pre-Iranian strikes' image, two MQ-9 drones are visible to the immediate north and east of the destroyed hangar. In the post-strike image, one MQ-9 Reaper drone is still visible in the north. But in the east on the runway (exactly where the MQ-9 was in the previous image), there is burn scars and darkening of the tarmac, which could be attributed to the destruction of the MQ-9 drone previously at that location. If the assessment holds true, then this would be the third US MQ-9 drone documented to have been destroyed on the ground since the so-called ceasefire.

🇸🇦🇺🇸 Satellite images confirm that significant expansion operations have begun at the US Army Logistics Support Area in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, known as LSA Jenkins, since April 2026. It appears that more US troops and military hardware have been sent to this location, and the US has effectively used the negotiations with Iran respite, to replenish its forces.

🇮🇷To give you an idea of how polluted the Iranian shores on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman have become with war wreckage and unexploded munition, here's an image of an AGM114-Hellfire R2 missile and the wreckage of a US MQ-9 Reaper drone after they were shot down by Iranian air defense units in the south of the country during the Iran War.
Upward of $25 billion worth of weapons were unleashed on Iran, one third of which either didn't detonate or failed to reach their targets. Among these were at least 5 almost intact AGM-158 JASSM cruise missiles.

🇺🇸🇮🇷CENTCOM's latest announcement claims shooting down of two Iranian drones. The US has tried almost every night for the past two weeks to sneak tankers and cargo ships past the Iranian blockade. Its actions have led to a familiar pattern: Iran has launched drones at the ships attempting to break its blockade, the US has been forced to abandon its mission but in response has bombed Iranian mainland, and Iran has then retaliated with missile strikes against the US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE.
So what's changed? There's no reported US strike on Iranian radar installations or naval outposts.
There are a number of possibilities: either the Pezeshkian "Reformist" autocracy has ordered a softer approach or the most likely scenario: the Arab Persian Gulf states have pressured the US to refrain from conducting attacks against the Iranian mainland, because they have to absorb further damage to their infrastructure and costs.
The last but not least likely scenario is that of the Pakistani Interior Minister arriving in Tehran with a letter specifically addressed to Iran’s Supreme Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
