"Freedom to practice" nullifies the obligation of hijrah?

The tweet above by Sohail Hanif repeats a common misrepresentation.

As we have already pointed out (and other references will be provided), the predominant view amongst the four madhahib states the necessity of hijrah from darul harb to darul Islam

The exception that some scholars discuss, and has been misrepresented as simply "having freedom to practice Islam", refers in reality to full implementation of Islam (izhar ad-Din), going well beyond being able to pray and donning a headgear or a headscarf; it would imply having actual independent SHAR'I COURTS, Muslim judges (QUDAH) and an AMIR overseeing Muslims' affairs and enforcing full implementation of Shari'ah (as happened (and required as a condition by Muslims to surrender) in some circumstances in the past when Muslim lands were occupied), and not just having the permission to perform salah, grow a beard and sport a foulard.

With such conditions, some scholars permitted residing in darul kufr!

The Shafi'i scholars themselves are very clear about the definition of izhar ad-Din; "for example, if a munkar is happening and a Muslim is not able to stop it, this is not "izhar al-din" according to them".

In the words of a most reputable Mufti:

"The Shafi'i ruling is about an enclave within Dar al-Kufr, that Muslims hold territorial power in (can defend the land with soldiers and weapons) and can enforce Islamic rules. When the Muslims in the main Dar al-Islam centre is not in need of their aid, and they do not fear being schemed against by the disbelievers surrounding them, then Shafi'is have said it is wajib to stay there to maintain its Dar al-Islam status."

Another scholar comments:

"This is always misconstrued by these clowns. Imam al Haramayn was referring to those areas which are autonomous and have their own qadhi haakim etc. Thus by extension it becomes darul islam as the kuffar have no saltah over them. If in this scenario they were to leave then they will be effectively leaving a darul islam and it would become darul kufr".

Furthermore, subjecting oneself to the authority of kufr authorities and their laws (ijra ahkam ahl al-kufr), strengthening the numbers, economy, social stability and power of harbi powers, is definitely not permitted anyways.

Ibn Kamāl Pāshā writes about corrupt scholars:

He also writes:

“And the elders of this time love the rulers and the people of the world, and they humble themselves before them to win their hearts and take their wealth, by supplicating [in front of them] their Lord to distance them from the punishment of Allah Most High...it is astonishing that the scholars of the previous times used to supplicate to their Lord for their loved ones to attain closeness to Allah Most High and high rank with Him, and they would refrain from taking people's wealth. But the scholars of this time supplicate to their Lord for their loved ones to be distant from Allah and for their destruction with Him, and they love taking people's wealth.”

Shaykh al-Islām Zāhid al-Kawtharī al-Ḥanafī al-Māturīdī:

"As for the competent scholars who are silent in lieu of aiding the truth during such catastrophes (i.e., secularism), they are nothing but dumb devils appearing to assist the apostates".

Note:

This is about those SILENT and refusing to address the kufr ideologies of secularism, nation-state, nationalism, et

Imagined what he would say to describe the zindiq murtaddin neo-Azharis cosplaying as "traditional Ashari madhhabi sufi scholars" lying about Islamic beliefs and rulings while sitting in istikhbarati conferences about "moderation" and against "extremism".

Actually, we don't need to imagine, we know he clearly takfired those who support secularism and twist Islamic rulings to support tawaghit apostate rulers.

Here is a clip of Yahūd talking about how they can effectively distort the Sharīʿah: Replacing and undermining THE CLASSICAL ʿULAMĀʾ & UṢŪL AL-FIQH. They even explicitly mention that the Qurʾān and aḥādīth alone can EASILY be reinterpreted however they want…
Extremely relevant given the recent events that have taken place on X/Twitter regarding the positions found in our tradition.

They want you to disregard the tradition. They’ve been socially engineering your worldview, and then using that to push this “reinterpretation” psy-op.

Anthropological Zoomorphism of Women by Hujjah al-Islam Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali

He says:

Know that women are of ten types, and each type resembles a certain animal in character:

- The 1st resembles a pig: Her habit is to do nothing but eat, fill her belly, and break vessels. She does not reflect on death or punishment, does not attend to raising or educating children, nor to their cleanliness, nor even to her own cleanliness. She wears dirty clothes and emits a foul odor.

- The 2nd resembles a monkey: Her ambition lies in wearing bright clothes yellow, red, green and adorning herself with jewels, gold and silver. She boasts over her peers and exalts her status in her husband’s eyes, though her reality may contradict that.

- The 3rd resembles a dog: If her husband speaks to her, she snaps at him, quarrels with him and barks like a dog. But if she sees his purse filled with gold and silver and the house stocked with food, she honors him and draws close to him. But if the situation is otherwise, she growls in his face like a dog, insults him, demeans his lineage, and rebukes his poverty and she does not stop complaining the entire day.

- The 4th is like a snake: She speaks softly to her husband but harbors malice within. She is like the snake, whose touch is soft but whose sting is deadly.

- The 5th resembles a mule: She is stubborn like a mule that stops on a bridge no matter how much you beat her, she does not move. She is argumentative, insistent, self-opinionated and impressed with herself.

- The 6th is like a scorpion: She goes around to neighbors’ homes carrying tales, slandering, whispering, and eavesdropping on their conversations. Then spreading them causing enmity, quarrels, and strife among them like a scorpion.

- The 7th resembles a mouse: She is the thieving woman, who sneaks her husband’s money and hides it, perhaps even in the neighbors’ houses.

- The 8th is like a bird: She never rests, always fluttering about during the day. She says to her husband “Where are you going? Surely you no longer love me. You must prefer someone else. You are neither honest nor kind to me.”

- The 9th resembles a fox: She drives her husband out of the house, eats (his food), sleeps, and feigns illness. When her husband returns, she says, “You left me home alone and sick.”

- The 10th is like a sheep: She is the blessed and merciful one like the sheep, all of whose being is benefit and blessing. She is the righteous woman, of great benefit to her husband, her family, her neighbors, and her household and she is obedient to her Lord.

Nowadays, it makes little difference how pious (you think) a woman is, because she’s not the one actually raising your kids.

With both parents working, kids are raised by the J€wish daycare system (society, the internet, and modern public schools).
