but this (far from exhaustive) list was focused on highlighting those who have a more pronounced tendency to be outspoken on contemporary affairs, politics, and refutation of deviant ideologies, so that we can offer to the wider public contemporary examples of actual orthodox Ash'ari scholars, and have the image of Ash'arism cleaned from the stains caused by deviant fake claimants to Ash'arism and pseudo-traditionalists like Ali Gomaa, Ramadan Buti, Ali Jifri, Abdul Qadir al-Hussaini, Hanson, etc., who are otherwise wrongly taken as representatives of "Ash'arism".
