A shop can now see all its own payments in one place.

Today I added payment listing with filters for status, provider, reference, and date. Each shop only sees its own payments, with test and live data kept separate. I also added cursor pagination, input validation, rate limits, and a database index to keep things secure and efficient as data grows.

Small improvements, but important for building a reliable payment system.

⏳ Day 23/60 Building SafePay

A stuck payment shouldn't wait for someone to remember to check.

When SafePay can't settle a payment after retries, it now goes into a review queue. The admin shows each one with a plain-language reason, the merchant, the provider, and how long it's been sitting there. Operators can re-check or clear it in one click.

If Telegram credentials are set, SafePay groups up to 10 flagged payments into one alert, never sends the same payment twice.

Introducing chronicle.

Chronicle is an app built to help you get insight into your journey when building in public.

It tried to strategize what type of content you should be posting on the platforms based on how each platform typically behaves and what you are trying to achieve (grow audience, get clients etc etc)

It also displays insights in what's working and what's not, what you could do better and tracks your consistency across X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok automatically. You just give it your handles and you are good to go.

⏳ Day 25/60 Building SafePay

What happens to an unpaid payment?

Payments now expire after 24 hours by default, configurable from 15 minutes to 7 days. Every minute, SafePay checks with the provider before expiring a payment. If it was paid, it succeeds. If the provider is unreachable, it stays pending.

Late payments are flagged for review, with a Telegram alert.
