Can This Vibe Coder Beat a Senior Developer?
Can a vibe coder with AI actually outperform a senior developer?
We put a vibe coder, a junior developer, and a senior developer head-to-head on the same challenge to see how far AI can close the experience gap.
Letβs see who wins.

Welcome to Liveryπ€©
i saw alot of developers struggle with design , welp
you dont have to worry about design anymore.
you can copy the design psychology , of the best cracked designers out thereπ€©
and use that as a skill to improve yours.
ofcourse this wont replace the whole thing , but it can help you get started and put your foot on the ground of a good basement.β€οΈ

β³ Day 15/60 Building SafePay
Yesterday SafePay added webhooks, but what happens if a webhook gets lost on the internet or the gateway times out?
Today, SafePay learned how to check on its own.A background scheduler (Celery + Beat) now periodically scans for pending payments and asks Chapa for their real status. If the network drops or Chapa is temporarily unreachable, SafePay never assumes the payment failed.
Instead, it backs off exponentially and retries automatically. Once the connection is back, it recovers on its own without losing a single transaction.

β³Day 16/60 Building SafePay
One SafePay, two Ethiopian payment providers: ArifPay is now connected next to Chapa, in their sandbox with test money. Adding it meant writing one new adapter with the same four jobs, and the rest of SafePay didn't change. A payment made through ArifPay is recorded like any other, with its provider, reference and status history.
On ArifPay I sent the payment straight to the sandbox, which returned a simulated result. It proves SafePay can talk to ArifPay and record the answer, but it is not the full customer flow. I also did not implement ArifPay webhook verification, because I couldn't confirm their signature method and I won't invent a security scheme.

Next: ArifPay hosted checkout if the sandbox allows it, and letting a merchant choose a provider.

Why aren't you building in public?
You don't need to be an expert or have a big audience to start. Just do the work, share what you learn, and keep going. π₯π₯You'll see how it goes and what comes out of it.
This video adds fuel to my 60-day challenge! Build in public, learn in the open, and let consistency create opportunities.

β³ Day 17/60 Building SafePay
Yesterday's missing piece was that ArifPay webhooks. Solved today.
Turns out ArifPay doesn't use signature headers they rely on out of band verification. When a webhook arrives, SafePay doesn't trust the payload it queries ArifPay's API directly to verify the real status before marking it paid.

β³ Day 18/60 Building SafePay
Chapa went down. SafePay switched to a backup.
Today SafePay learned provider choice and failover.
If a provider clearly fails, SafePay tries the next one. If the result is uncertain, like a timeout, it retries the same provider to avoid double payments.Every attempt is logged safely, even if the request fails.
For now, I'm using a fake provider for the demo while ArifPay checkout testing is still pending.
