- The voices memes on transactions is now out. You can even record yours. [ref]
- You can now lock unhiding the balance behind a fingerprint , just like the app lock. also works on the widgets.
- Receipts fetch and verify automatically, shown in a Verified Receipt section. powered by v.odit.et
- Categorize reminder, with an auto mode and a set-time override
- Patterns are now back upto 99.99% extraction , and i added 4 new banks.
- Tons of ui fixes and tweaks
had to break up the update for odit pro into the next release cycle.

Found another Substack that got stuck in my head this one by Sun's Orbit π
She's in a room full of people who've studied a topic for years, way more than her. She's asked what she thinks, gives an honest answer, and afterward can't stop wondering: why was I even in that room?
She talks about that one friend we all have βΊοΈπalways has the answer, always has three solutions ready. She admires that... but then catches herself becoming one. Collecting knowledge instead of using it. Then she drops the line that got me:
"What if I become someone who knows exactly what to do, but never does it?"
Not failure. Just becoming really good at preparing for a life she never actually lives.
What I'm taking from this: showing up beats being ready. You don't need to be the most qualified to deserve a seat at the table. Wait to "know enough" and you might wait forever while someone less ready just goes and does it.

This Stark Hackathon is also a token of gratitude to all the users of Stark.et who have been continuously supportive and active on the platform. It's also an opportunity to promote the continuous shipping and building that the community has been doing so far.
The hackathon is going to be held online on STARK CONTESTS, with a chance to spend the last day (announcement day) in person.
On the announcement day, the first half of the day will be dedicated to finalizing your projects, meeting other contenders, and getting ready to present.
Then, in the second half of the day, we will have amazing keynotes from our community leaders, judging time for the judges, presentations from the Top 10 contenders showcasing their solutions and projects, and so much more.

Last week I sent money from my CBE account to my telebirr wallet.
The fee is 11 birr
I didn't know if that was normal or a ripoff and that's the real
problem: nobody tells you what you're actually paying. Banks bury the fee in a percentage, a tier, or fine print, and you find out the cost only after the money's already gone. Banks don't make it easy to know what you'll pay until after you've already paid it.
So I built Fair Fee: type in any amount, and instantly see exactly what every major Ethiopian bank and mobile wallet would charge you for that specific transfer and whether that fee is fair, or quietly ripping you off.
What I found when I checked my own transfer:
1. CBE charges a flat 57.5 birr for bank transfers same price whether you send 100 birr or 50,000 birr
2. Dashen Bank charges a fair percentage instead the price actually scales with what you send
3. For the same 2,000 birr transfer, the cheapest and most expensive banks differ by 14x.
