Let me tell you something i have learned through out my professional journey.

Show yourself, Let people know what you are working on, don't listen to people who say አታሽቃብጡ, Approach who ever you think is scary, Talk to your boss as a friend, ask them about their life, you have no idea how much opportunities open. Most of the time we create this invisible line between the people we work with, but Really show your progress, don't think my job will do the talking, tbh most time it doesn't, unless the team is small, If you show them how much capable you are, there is nothing stopping you, I got promoted twice in a year btw, because I showed what i am capable of doing, that I can actually take initiative, that I can lead. and I have seen this everywhere I go. but that doesn't mean slack off after you gain their trust, rather work even more harder, and believe me, you will see.
