This week project is going to be Building Financial Inclusion Forecaster for Ethiopia. !🔥

Ever wonder why Telebirr has 54M+ users but only 49% of Ethiopians actually have a bank mobile money account?

I'm building a data science system to answer exactly that tracking and forecasting Ethiopia's financial inclusion using real data from NBE, Fayda, EthSwitch, and Shega.

The system tracks two things the World Bank's Global Findex measures:
📊 Access do people have an account?
💳 Usage do they actually pay digitally?

So far what I have done

✅ Built a modular Python pipeline (loader ,validator explorer ,enricher)

✅ Enriched the dataset with real 2025/2026 data Fayda enrollment growth (16M -> 25M+), NBE's new interoperability directive, digital transaction volume (9.7 trillion Birr!)

✅ Every data point sourced and logged for transparency

Next up: modeling how events like Fayda rollout, M-Pesa's entry, and NBE policy changes actually move the numbers then forecasting 2026–2027.
