It’s just a chill space where I share my dev moments, ML/backend projects, and things I learn along the way. I started this to stay committed and grow with others. If you vibe with that, open your laptop and let’s figure out tech together πŸ’»πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈ

Finally the final day comes πŸ˜πŸ™Œ

Writing a report is actually the most overwhelming . But it helps me to exercise how can I express my technical work to non technical teams in plain english to easily present the work and the problem I solved to them.

The only thing left in this project is presentation to all up and downs and the fruit that appears at the end.πŸ†

#Day7

I still can’t believe how quickly this week passed🀧🀧. Looking back, this project has been one of the most valuable real-world experiences I’ve had so far.🀌🏾

At first, even opening those huge CSV files felt intimidating. The technical terms sounded overwhelming, and everything seemed far more complex than I expected. But once I started learning, experimenting, and taking things one step at a time, those β€œheavy” concepts gradually became easier to understand.

The long nights, the debugging sessions, and the moments of confusion specially around Day 4 πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒwere all worth it. Today, being able to confidently say β€œit works” and present the work I’ve built feels incredibly rewarding.

Beyond the technical skills, this project taught me something even more important: the courage to try. It reminded me not to be afraid of new challenges, to keep building, and to keep learning. It also help me to remind a simple lesson: don’t leave things for later. Later, the coffee gets cold, opportunities pass by, and unfinished work stays unfinished. Showing up, doing the work, and sharing it on time says a lot about who you are.

This isn’t the end. Tomorrow, I’ll be starting another project. 🀞🏽🀞🏽🀞🏽I don’t know exactly what I’ll learn or what challenges are waiting for me,😁😁😁 but one thing remains the same I’m always eager to learn new things, adapt quickly, and keep growing.

On to the next challenge. πŸš€πŸ«‘πŸ«‘

I had an intensive technical interview 3 weeks ago. One thing I learned, if you don't know something, it's better to be honest than to fake it. Some of what I was asked, I'd heard of but didn't deeply understand. And I got the job. The interviewer appreciated the honesty and the hunger to learn. Although I had to re-evaluate myself as well since most of it was a live coding session and I actually did really well there.

I'll also be working US timezone, officially joining the TMOC crew πŸ˜‚
Reminder: not knowing something isn't a failure. There's always time to learn. Always. NEVER too late.
Good night 😴 πŸ₯± fams let's us rest 😴

CodeLore V0 is outttt πŸ”₯

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹

I've been working on something called CodeLore, and v0 is finally out 😊

CodeLore is a place where programming concepts are explained using stories, chaos, and weird analogies so they're easier to understand and remember.

You can:
βœ… Read lores from the community
βœ… Write and publish your own
βœ… like the good ones
βœ… Search by topic or tag
βœ… Share them anywhere
βœ… Install it as a mobile app

Built with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, and Supabase.

Honestly, this started as a personal project to store the creative analogies I come up with while learning.

Later, I thought it would be cool to make it available for others who want a place to save and share their own explanations.

If you're someone who likes getting creative while learning, give it a try πŸ‘‡

I'd be happy to hear your feedback and suggestions 😊

Ladies and gentlemen 🫑😁

🫑😁New challenge has been given!

I will work on a full Data Engineering Pipeline that scrapes Ethiopian medical Telegram channels and turns raw messy data into clean, actionable business insights!

Who is this for? Pharmacies, health regulators, researchers, and data analysts who need to understand the Ethiopian medicine market but don't have time to read thousands of Telegram posts manually.

The system will answer real questions like:
πŸ’Š Which medicines are trending?
πŸ’° How do prices vary across channels?
What products appear most in images?
πŸ“ˆ What are the weekly posting trends?

This week I will be learning ELT pipelines, dbt, more on PostgreSQL, YOLO image detection, and FastAPI.

I once heard someone speak about "α‹΅αˆα‹΅α‹ αŠ₯αŠ“ αŒα‹΅αŒα‹³"

For a long time, I thought life was about crossing bridges and avoiding walls.
Then I grew older and I realized that a wall is not always an obstacle.Sometimes, it is the destination.
A bridge exists to be crossed. It connects one reality to another. One version of ourselves to the next. Many people in our lives are bridges. They appear for a season, change our direction, teach us a lesson, and leave us standing somewhere we could never have reached alone.
But a wall is different.
β€’ A wall asks us to stop.
β€’ To remain.
β€’ To build.
The walls of a home are not prisons; they are what make belonging possible. Without walls, there is no shelter. Without boundaries, there is no identity. Without limits, there is no meaning.
Perhaps this is true of relationships too.
Some people are bridges. They help us discover who we can become.
Some people are walls. They become the place where our wandering ends. Not because they confine us, but because they give our lives shape.
β€’ A family is a wall.
β€’ Trust is a wall.
β€’ Commitment is a wall.
Love, at its deepest, is a wall we willingly build around two souls not to keep the world out, but to create a place where both can belong.

The paradox of life is that we need both.

Bridges remind us that we must grow.
Walls remind us that we must root ourselves somewhere.
A life made only of bridges becomes endless wandering.
A life made only of walls becomes stagnation.
Wisdom is knowing when to cross and when to stay.
And perhaps the greatest relationships are those rare ones that become both a bridge that transforms us,and a wall that finally feels like home.
πŸ“‰Second Day of The Project.

Today I Scraped 1000 messages from 5 Ethiopian medical Telegram channels automatically. Built a full data lake with JSON files partitioned by date and images organized by channel.

The hardest part? Finding the real Telegram usernames some channels were bots, some had wrong names. Real engineering is about solving these small but tricky problems! πŸ’ͺ

Now on Next Part : Data Modeling & Transformation!

Raw data is messy and untrustworthy. My job now is to turn that chaos into clean, structured, analysis-ready tables using:
πŸ›  PostgreSQL as the data warehouse
πŸ›  dbt to clean, transform, and test the data
⭐️ Star Schema the gold standard for analytical databases
