Today is the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP is celebrating this day, and Simone Gao interviewed a person who knows what really happens under the Communist Rule. His name is Chao Yu.
Chao has a legendary life story. He was educated at China’s top university, Qing hua, but ended up in China’s prison for almost 10 years.
Today he will tell us how some of the famous food snacks have been made in China’s prisons and what the inmates in Xinjiang were doing in order to escape from the prison slave labor.

US investors have no control over the chinese companies they invested $2 trillion into, because these chinese companies use a structure called VIE. With VIE, the Chinese companies are registered in Cayman Islands but they are only the shell companies of the real entities in China. Therefore, by owning stocks of the Cayman Island shell companies, US investors have no control over the real companies located in China. DIDI, Alibaba and others all fall into this scenario. This is Part 2 of my interview with former Under Secretary of State, Keith Krach.
