The aim of the School of Ecology and Geography is to conduct scientific research in the field of nature management, environmental protection, dendrochronology, climatology, geography, paleogeography and biological resource studies.

School of Education, Psychology and Sociology promotes human potential development through up-to-date social scientific and educational practices and capitalization. It has developed the following strategies: 1) flexible educational programmes for training and professional development of teachers 2) training of specialists in the field of humanitarian strategies for human development (psychology, pedagogics, social sciences).

Обещанный фильм от RT Россия из цикла документальных программ «Россия: XXI век», посвящённый трансформации образования. Вчера вечером вышел первый выпуск. Высшую школу представлял Сибирский федеральный университет.

В Красноярск большая команда RT (восемь человек) прибыла в конце марта. Съёмки шли два дня с утра до вечера. График съёмок беспощадно плыл, герои (преподаватели и студенты) уставали, три оператора в тщетной попытке объять необъятное (СФУ, прим.ред.) сбивались с ног. Как всегда бывает, в итоговый сюжет вошло не все. Но получилось красиво и информативно.
