You may also remember that Ebony found, while being cared for, her mate! A young gibbon named Coley. Last year, they've had the pleasure to welcome into the world Axel, their son and the first-ever gibbon born in a rehab centre in Malaysia. Axel not only represents a beautiful achievement for gibbon conservation but also the hopeful future for this gorgeous species!
