PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7
"Trade your toxic worry for prayer, and God will guard your mind."

Perfectly Incomplete
Too real to be perfect,
too honest to pretend,
I’ve got pieces of myself
I’m still learning how to mend.
I’ve been wrong, I’ve made mistakes,
I’ve changed along the way.
I don’t hide the rough edges
or erase the price I paid.
I’m not polished for approval,
not shaped to fit a frame.
I’d rather stand here flawed
than perfect with no name.
Every scar, every lesson,
left a mark I carried through.
I don’t rewrite what happened
just to make myself look new.
So call me imperfect.
I won’t take it as defeat.
I’d rather be completely real
than perfectly incomplete.
This is just the beginning,
I’ve got more to comprehend.
I’m still becoming who I am,
and this is not the end.
Sincerely, Ak

ISAIAH 26:3
"Perfect peace isn't an absence of trouble it's a mind fixed on God."

Hebrews 10:30-31
For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people. " It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

No Mirror Needed
I see no competition,
I have no one to outrun.
I don’t measure my reflection
by the shadow of someone.
I won’t become another person
just to fit where I belong.
I was never meant to copy
what was never mine all along.
I know the path I’m walking,
I know the woman I’ll become.
There’s no one else I need to mirror
when I’m already the only one.
Sincerely, Ak

Part 1 The White Light
At fourteen, I crossed beyond the veil,
where breath grew distant and the world grew pale.
I entered the white, where silence was bright,
a place made of peace, untouched by the night.
My ancestors came and gathered around,
familiar souls where no fear could be found.
They knew where to lead me,
they knew where to go,
through the endless white
with its radiant glow.
They walked beside me,
guiding my way,
farther from Earth
with each passing day.
Until something greater
appeared through the light—
the gates of Heaven
standing in sight.
And there I stood,
with my soul exposed,
before a place
only eternity knows.
