Do NOT fuck with moose. They're some of the most dangerous animals on the North American continent and they aren't even carnivores. Bears will mostly just leave you alone. They're predators, so they use a lot of energy, which means they also won't waste energy chasing you down if you aren't in their territory. If anything, they're usually pretty cagy. Not moose though. Moose are these barely sentient living bulldozers that have been evolutionarily perfected over millions of years to thrive in an arctic and subarctic region filled with ferocious predators. They average more than 1,200 pounds as adults and have no sense of fear whatsoever. They don't view humans as threats, they view us as targets. Moose will fuck you up.
