The best thing I did this year was learning to accept that whatever happens, happens, and that’s okay.

Hedy Lamarr was Hollywood's biggest star in the 1940s.

Called the most beautiful woman in the world. But she was also a GENIUS. Invented frequency hopping technology during World War Two. To stop enemies jamming torpedo signals. Patented it in 1942. The military ignored her. Said go sell war bonds. Pretty face. Sit down. Patent EXPIRED. Military quietly used her technology anyway. Without paying her. Without crediting her. Her invention became the foundation of WiFi. Bluetooth. GPS. Every wireless technology you use TODAY. She died in 2000. Got recognition only in her final years. The most beautiful brain they ever dismissed.

Do you know her?

I tried the "studying until..." trend from the internet, but I used a method that probably no one would ever think of. Btw, I've been using it for the last two days and my focus has actually improved so much.

Instead of just staring at the clock, tying your study session to random things makes it way less boring and keeps you locked in.

Has anyone else tried this yet?
