❐Expressed when both alleles are DOMINANT alleles or one dominant allele is paired with a recessive allele.

🪷Recessive Trait

🪷Homozygote
❐Both alleles at loci of a pair of homologous chromosomes are the SAME.

🪷Heterozygous
❐Alleles af loci of a pair of homologous chromosomes are DIFFERENT.

🪷Parental generation
❐Refers to the FIRST generation of 2 individuals which are mated to predicts or analyse genotypes of their offsprings.

🪷Filial generation
❐Refers to a SUCCESSIVE generation as a result of mating between individuals of purebreed parental generation.

🪷Purebreed
❐Refers to individual which carries two identical alleles for a trait.

🪷Hybrid
❐Product of mating between 2 purebreed varieties.
