What's a RESIDUE ?🤔
It's like the sisa baki after proses penguraian (melalui pembakaran🔥)
Mcm contohnya eh, this is the chemical equation bila Zink karbonat terurai
ZnCO3 --> ZnO + CO2
Gas CO2 akan terbebas to the surrounding manakala yg tinggal shj ialah ZnO.
ZnO is what we call residue.
So this ZnO kan, warnanya kuning ketika panas dan putih ketika sejuk.
This same concept applies kalau CuCO3 terurai. You'll have CuO as the residue. Not only that, you'll also end up with the same residue (CuO) when Cu(NO3)2 decomposes.
My question for you now is
1. What's the color of PbO when cold🥶 ?
2. What's the color of ZnCO3 ?
3. What's the color of CuO when hot🥵 ?
4. What's the color of CuCO3 ?
