Important Definitions !
1⃣ Gravitational Force
👉Known as Universal force
👉Why? It acts between any two bodies in the universe
👉Force of attraction between any two bodies
👉Gravitational force exists between 2 bodies
👉both bodies experience gravitational force of the same magnitude
💥Directly proportional to the product of the masses of the two bodies
💥Inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the centres of the two bodies
2⃣Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation.... states that
🔍 The gravitational force between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of the masses of both bodies
🔍Inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the centres of the two bodies
3⃣Centripetal Force (pg 90)
🌻A force acts on the body in a direction towards the centre of cirlce
🌻The magnitude of the centripetal force depends on the
a) Mass of the body
b) Linear speed
c) Radius of the circle
