ATM Bombing, Alrode South.
Sentinel Security Response Officers came under heavy fire. One Sentinel vehicle was immobilized by shots fired. ATM bombed. Suspects were deterred by Sentinel Security presence. Approximately 10 to 15 suspects. Scene handed over to SAPS.

Sentinel Security Response Officers came under heavy fire. One Sentinel vehicle was immobilized by shots fired. ATM bombed. Suspects were deterred by Sentinel Security presence. Approximately 10 to 15 suspects. Scene handed over to SAPS.

A tracking company received a positive license plate match on their LPR database for a stolen truck. Sentinel Security Response and Tactical teams were dispatched to provide backup and assist on the scene. It was later confirmed that the truck was indeed stolen beforehand but recently recovered, and BOLO was not cleared. The truck was still sought on LPR and other database systems, driver and truck were sent for profiling and updating of vehicle status. Well done to everyone involved.

COPPER CABLE SYNDICATE BUSTED
Sentinel Security was alerted to underground activity concerning stolen copper cable. Upon making entry to the site, numerous suspects began fleeing in various directions. The suspects fled into a nearby veld and attempted to escape from Sentinel personnel. Sentinel Security teams refused to back down and gave chase into the large veld. Three suspects were arrested by Sentinel Security Officers. A significant amount of stripped copper cable and several other copper cable reels were recovered. Scene handed over to SAPS. Sentinel Security Response Officer responded to an alarm activation at our client’s site. Upon arrival, the Response Officer spotted a vehicle on fire in the yard and immediately requested Fire Dispatch. Several Sentinel Officers attended the scene to assist and stop the fire from spreading to more cars and from reaching the building. Sentinel personnel managed to contain the fire and saved the nearby cars and building from damage.

Suspects were deterred by Sentinel Response Officers hence suspects failed the break in and nothing taken from site.

Sentinel Security Control Room was alerted to a medical emergency at our client’s premises. Control Room immediately dispatched First Responders and Paramedics to site. The worker received emergency medical assistance on scene and was later transported to the hospital in a stable condition. Well done to everyone involved.

CCTV HUMAN MOVEMENT DETECTION LEADS TO ARREST
Sentinel Security’s CCTV Division spotted a suspect inside our client’s yard. Sentinel CCTV Operators had picked up his movement and dispatched several Armed Response Units to the site. The suspect began tampering with a vehicle parked in the yard. Sentinel Security Response teams entered the site and apprehended the suspect. Stolen goods were recovered. Well done Sentinel team!

FIRE EMERGENCY
Sentinel Security was alerted to a large factory fire. Sentinel Security Control Room dispatched first responders and contacted relevant emergency services.
The quick, decisive action of Sentinel Tactical team having encountered the fire and immediately initiating firefighting procedures while awaiting fire services proved decisive.
Thanks to quick response and intervention, the fire was contained. Most importantly no injuries were reported and no other neighboring factories were affected.
Well done to all role players involved.

Sentinel Security Armed Response together with Gauteng traffic police successfully recovered a hijacked truck loaded with industrial generators. Coordinated action between law enforcement and Sentinel Security led to the recovery of the truck. The driver was later found at a different location and was unharmed.

Sentinel Security Control Room received a distress call from a client reporting that an ex-employee was threatening their staff with a firearm.
Multiple Sentinel Security Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched.
The suspect was swiftly located and disarmed by Sentinel Security teams. Upon further inspection, the firearm was identified as a replica. The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further processing.

Sentinel Security noted a surge in truck tyre theft from trucks parked outside on the streets overnight. Intel was gathered and a lookout was placed.
Sentinel Security teams spotted the suspects in action.
Sentinel Armed Response Officers cornered the vehicle and placed the suspects under arrest.

The suspects immediately fled into the nearby veld. Sentinel teams gave chase and apprehended both suspects. The suspects were busy stealing the spare tyre from the back of a bakkie. Suspects detained and handed over to SAPS. Well done to everyone involved.
