Sentinel Security Control Room received a Panic Alarm activation from guards on site. Sentinel Response teams were swiftly dispatched to site. Upon arrival it was identified that the factory was on fire as smoke was seen coming from the roof. Fire services were dispatched and Sentinel Security Response teams assisted while awaiting fire services. The fire was contained and the factory was saved from complete destruction. Well done to everyone involved especially Reaction Officers that went over their scope of duty in assisting to minimize the loss.

Suspect arrested by Sentinel Security teams. Multiple alarm activation signals were received from our client’s premises. Sentinel Response and Tactical teams arrived within seconds of the alarm activating. Upon arrival the suspect was spotted on top of the perimeter wall attempting to flee. The suspect was detained and stolen stock was recovered.

Sentinel Security Response teams chased down and apprehended two suspects. The suspects gained access into our client’s premises but immediately fled upon spotting Sentinel Security patrol vehicle. Back-up was requested and a foot-chase ensued in the large veld. After a short chase the suspects were successfully apprehended by Sentinel teams. Although nothing was stolen, both suspects were found with drugs in their possession. Well done to Sentinel Security Response Officers.

Sentinel Security Guard on nightshift duty spotted a fire inside the workshop of his site whilst he was on patrol. Sentinel guard acted swiftly and called for assistance. Sentinel Tactical were dispatched to assist whilst awaiting fire services. The fire was subsequently contained and successfully extinguished by officers as the premises was saved from any extensive damage and/or burning down. Well done to the observant Security Officer and Tactical units for assisting.

Sentinel Security CCTV offsite monitoring spotted two suspects inside Sentinel client's yard and immediately dispatched Sentinel Response. CCTV Operators kept ground units updated of the suspects' whereabouts, leading to the successful arrest of two suspects. Dangerous weapons and break-in implements were found on the suspects. Job well done to Sentinel CCTV and Response Divisions.

Upon further investigation it was established that the suspect was busy stealing items of steel from the yard. Suspect was subsequently apprehended and the stolen stock was recovered. SUSPECT CAUGHT! Sentinel Security Reaction Officer was stopped by workers who were chasing a suspect. A description of the suspect was obtained and after a short chase the suspect was apprehended with a stolen bakkie battery in his possession. Well done to all involved.

CCTV SUCCESS! SentView CCTV operators spotted a suspect inside our client’s yard and monitored the suspect’s movement whilst multiple Armed Response Officers were dispatched. CCTV Operators were able to pinpoint the exact location of the suspect, who was subsequently cornered by Sentinel ground units. The suspect could not escape and was immediately detained.

Sentinel Security Response Officer was alerted to smoke coming out of our client’s factory in the early hours of the morning. Sentinel personnel jumped into action along with company employees to try save the factory from burning down. Sentinel Security Control Room promptly dispatched the relevant services to assist. The fire was contained and minimal damage was sustained to the premises. Well done to everybody involved!

POST BOX THIEF APPREHENDED.....
Sentinel Tactical units on patrol spotted a suspect walking through Oscar Street, Brackenhurst very suspiciously.
As closing in on the suspect, Tactical unit could see something concealed in the suspects pants. Upon searching it was revealed that the contents were brass post box covers.
Suspect was arrested and handed over to SAPS.
We urge everyone who has been victim to this modus to please report to SAPS to open a docket and obtain CAS numbers over and above the ones that have already been reported.

Sentinel Security Response Officer whilst on patrol spotted suspect pulling a very heavy bag. The suspect was stopped and searched by Response Officer who immediately discovered that the bag was full of copper cable. The suspect was detained and stock was recovered pending further investigation.

POSTBOX THIEF APPREHENDED.
Sentinel Security CCTV Control Center spotted human movement at our client's premises in the late hours of the evening. Response units were dispatched. CCTV operators noticed that the suspect stole the postbox.
Sentinel Response units surrounded the suspect and swiftly apprehended him. The stolen postbox was recovered along with break-in implements.

BUILDING COMMUNITY CONFIDENCE
Sentinel Security recently participated in an event hosted by AfriForum Alberton in conjunction with the Brackendowns Community Policing Forum (CPF). The community in attendance were treated to entertainment, self-defence tips, and a crime scene simulation by various role players. Proceeds from the Fun Day will go towards purchasing uniform for community policing patrollers.
Thank you to the Brackendowns Community Police Forum for inviting Sentinel Security to participate and assist in building and promoting confidence in our communities.
