Urgent backup was sought by SAPS, Metro and CPF members who were conducting a stop-and-search roadblock when a shootout ensued between the aforementioned authorities and several suspects in a vehicle. One or more suspects were arrested and an AK-47 was recovered. A Metro Police officer was shot during the shoot out, he has subsequently been discharged from hospital. On behalf of Sentinel Teams and community members, we thank our police services and CPF members for being on the front line of fighting crime. Sentinel Security Response officer on regular patrol spotted something abnormal lying in the veld. Upon surveying he reported several truck tyres lying in the veld. Response officer immediately requested backup suspecting that the tyres had been stolen from a premises nearby. Upon further investigation it was established that the fence to the closest premises had been damaged and the tyres were indeed from that site. Sentinel Security Tactical teams were dispatched and cleared the site. Suspects were unsuccessful as all tyres were recovered.

Sentinel Security Response Patrol vehicle spotted a gathering of aggrieved community members over poor service delivery of electricity and water. The community began blocking off parts of the road with multiple large stones, burning tyres and stoning passing vehicles. Sentinel Tactical and Sentinel First Responders combined with Metro, SAPS Public Order Policing strategically de-escalated the crowd and cleared the road for the safety of road users. Well done to all role players involved.

Sentinel Security Control Room received a call requesting immediate medical assistance at our client’s premises. Direct contact of Ambulance services were dispatched and upon arrival paramedics attended to our client. Quick response and emergency assistance were on hand when needed most. We're glad that our client has recovered well since then.

Wanted suspect caught and arrested! A Sentinel Security client provided CCTV footage of a suspect that had stripped copper pipes and electrical cables from their yard. The description of the suspect was distributed amongst our Response and Tactical teams and yielded success together with a community member. The suspect was spotted and chased down. Sentinel teams found a dangerous weapon and breaking implements on his person. The suspect was detained and subsequently arrested by SAPS. Well done guys for going that extra mile.

Sentinel Security Response units were dispatched and apprehended the suspect. Stolen stock was recovered and breaking implements were found on his possession. Well done Sentinel teams!

Guards on site had spotted a suspect jumping over the wall and pressed their panic button. Upon our arrival the suspect was detained with the assistance of construction workers on site. Suspect was handed over to Brackendowns SAPS.

A Sentinel Security Response unit was waved down by a community member. The community member had just been robbed of their bicycle by a suspect wearing a balaclava. A description of the suspect and the stolen bicycle was circulated amongst our networks which resulted in the successful arrest of the suspect shortly thereafter. Job well done Sentinel Teams!

Sentinel Security teams were operationalised to conduct a drug bust in conjunction with Brackendowns CPF, SAPS and other role players. The operation yielded success with drugs seized, one suspect arrested and a blank gun with several blank rounds recovered. The suspect is a notorious drug dealer in the Brackenhurst area and was arrested for possession and dealing in drugs. Well done to everyone involved.

Sentinel Security Response swiftly surrounded the vicinity, which resulted in successfully apprehending the suspect and the recovery of the stolen item. Sentinel Security Control Room received a Panic Alarm activation from guards on site. Sentinel Response teams were swiftly dispatched to site. Upon arrival it was identified that the factory was on fire as smoke was seen coming from the roof. Fire services were dispatched and Sentinel Security Response teams assisted while awaiting fire services. The fire was contained and the factory was saved from complete destruction. Well done to everyone involved especially Reaction Officers that went over their scope of duty in assisting to minimize the loss.

Sentinel Response and Tactical teams arrived within seconds of the alarm activating. Upon arrival the suspect was spotted on top of the perimeter wall attempting to flee. Sentinel Security Response teams chased down and apprehended two suspects. The suspects gained access into our client’s premises but immediately fled upon spotting Sentinel Security patrol vehicle. Back-up was requested and a foot-chase ensued in the large veld. After a short chase the suspects were successfully apprehended by Sentinel teams. Although nothing was stolen, both suspects were found with drugs in their possession. Well done to Sentinel Security Response Officers.
